Version region and the region A and B multi-region version, so all contributions are versions for both.)
There is good: Excellent image quality on Blu-ray, outstanding soundtrack support with onboard decoding Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD High Resolution and bitstream output Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, relatively low price compared to other standalone Blu-ray BD-P1400Blu-ray Disc s, Ethernet port for firmware updates.
MDOJ,
My BD-P1400 has arrived late yesterday! The firmware was updated last night via Internet download and burn a CD. First impressions:
Video - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Audio - !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
FYI: There is no difference in picture quality or sound, or any other kind of difference in the region of a U.S. versionMulti-region version A and B of the BD-P1400 Blu-ray Blu-ray Disc Player.
I tried a normal DVD and BRD away and I'm so happy. Load
The times are very acceptable. I have no negatives on this unit until now. Will
Report later when I get some of BRDs apparently problematic.
The Samsung BD-P1400 is a classic style. The front of the car is all shiny black with a thin silver strip on the bottom.
Got my Samsung BD-P1400 lastNight and the boy was excited! Before this review, let me begin by saying to us that this is the first and only Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray disc player, and I felt that I perhaps have some of your comparisons. If I do not know, just lemme! I would also say that I upgrade to the latest firmware but my modem is not near a TV.
Image
Excellent, duh ...... Inky blacks, great contrast, detail, everything you expect from Blue
Design: WonderfulBD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player still looking for the best, I think. Face is not very open, overload, and the polished surface rocks. Best remote control too.
Wonderful loading times. I have 5 movies so far, and all loaded in approx. 15 seconds. Then there was the new F4 Silver Surfer .... This is a BD + titles from Fox and many have had their complaints about the charging time. The BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player gave me no problem, and multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible. I wouldreiterate that this is right out of the box, do not update the firmware again!
FYI: There is no difference in picture quality or sound, or any other kind of difference in the U.S. Region A version of the Multi-region version A and B of the BD-P1400 Blu-ray Blu-ray Disc Player.
Sound
I have not played with the sound as much as I have my Onkyo TX-SR705 yet. I noticed that there is an option to select how the outside speakers from large and small analog 5.1. There are other discussionsand relations of persons to obtain the full DTS-MA bitstream from Blu-Ray Disc Player BD-P1400 (after firmware upgrade) on other threads and forums. I'm always very happy to try this!
More
The rest of the decree is fairly standard. Max 128x device forward again in the same position even after the movie, very good response times for keys remote, etc powered
All in all, this is a dynamite BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player. With the firmware update, this guy is simplyAbout everything you'd expect from a BD-P1400 Blu-ray Blu-ray Disc Player now!
In addition to Blu-ray discs can play DVD Samsung BD-P1400 standard definition and CDs.
FYI: There is no difference in picture quality or sound, or any other kind of difference in the U.S. Region A version of the Multi-region version A and B of the BD-P1400 Blu-ray Blu-ray Disc Player.
The BD-P1400-PBD soundtrack, high resolution support is excellent. It has onboard decoding forDolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD High Resolution, which means it can produce these soundtracks either in PCM via HDMI or analog outputs. For receivers, the BD-P1400 also offers bitstream output for high resolution audio tracks. So if you have a newer receiver with onboard Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio decoding, you can use the BD-P1400 to output audio over HDMI in encoded bitstream format set - let your receiver to decode, rather than the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray disc player.
There should be absolutely no difference whether the receiver decodes the audio quality or the BD-P1400 Blu-ray decode, but some AV fans love him, the "light" Dolby TrueHD on their new receiver. If you need a code of Omni 79.95 Free Convert DVD Disc Player for $ planet is also coming with two guarantees. So far I am very happy with this purchase. I was not sure if the deal just because of the negative> Read posts, but I bought it anyway.
I really do not know why people get upset if it only takes two minutes to get ready to play. I rented it several times, with Blu-Ray from Netflix used without problems. I am still waiting for the eight free movies.
Connectivity is also solid. There is an HDMI output capable of carrying both 1080p video signals and high resolution audio.
For analog high-definition video, there is a component video output (limited to 1080i), andthere is an S-Video and composite output for standard definition output. (As with all BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player s, no DVD upscaling via component video available). On the audio side there are the aforementioned HDMI output, along with 5.1 channel analog outputs, optical and coaxial digital outputs and stereo analog outputs.
Rounding out the connectivity is an Ethernet port that enables the firmware from the Internet - an update functionSo, with HD DVD player, but very rare in Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc.
FYI: There is no difference in picture quality or sound, or any other kind of difference in the U.S. Region A version of the Multi-region version A and B of the BD-P1400 Blu-ray Blu-ray Disc Player.
The BD-P1400 has a good job of making the opening sequence for Star Trek: Insurrection, the confirmation of their ability to 02:03 pull-down. Next up was Seabiscuit, and the BD-P1400 has apermanent employment difficult to introduce, with few to no jaggies on a photo in black and white.
MDOJ,
Just a quick update to Samy BD-P1400. I rented a BR from Netflix and have been really enjoying the BD-P1400 - how about you? All-jargon aside, for me this is a great BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player.
I hope the guys responsible head of this forum is a sticker for the Samsung BD-P1400 to do - Tips - help! Watch movies at home... here to save lives not.
The Samsung device is really good for the price. The multi-region version is $ 849.95 from Planet Omni, and looks at them with a double motherboard specially imported must cost a fortune plus the hard work that is a big deal, IMHO.
I could connect my unit directly to my modem with a network cable (as per instructions in the manual Samsung) and BD-P1400 Blu-Ray disc player, find the new firmware and loaded withoutI need to burn to get the computer ... Plates, etc. Very cool.
The Samsung has a great image and I can update the current DTS-HD Master Audio (Sony did not hear that for twice the price!).
think with the pace at which technology moves the ego, it is very difficult for a manufacturer of these units will produce, but to reach the market and very "present" with the new technology is hard, (which changes every day) , but Samsung has provided me with a device that Ican easily be in my modem and when you have an update available. I think it's incredible.
A little 'patience and understanding can go a long way. After all ... It was not long ago that if you purchased an electronic component, you could not update at all. I am sure that Samsung is an update soon. I ran without food, I could not play as yet.
Since I have never seen a 1200 in action, I can not help - but the BD-P1400 PQ is excellent, but whatBlue is all - right?
I tried more than BD from Netflix and a standard-def DVD a few 's. All were great. Regarding the problem of handshake, I'm not really sure what that is .... and switch-off, the game and what ... Why do you want to make a movie anyway?
BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc player great, I could not be more pleased that I consider the new BD-P1400 last week. returned in 1200 to do so. (Plus 100 price difference for me. PROS = is the image quality is by far the bestI've seen, even better, then I had Panny.
The controls are simple and exactly the same mass. I hate losing the signal on top of discs.
AUDIO = I am not able to take advantage of all the audio functions for my Onkyo is a few years old. I have it with the installation of a digital optical cable, the sound is excellent, except for the POPS me sometimes.
As for BD, PotC 2 minutes, had no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni willeven more incredible, in other BD movies. I noticed that after the break, I met and went to play, hit, the film would be to play for a minute and then stop. I had to hit play again. A big problem.
Use the Ethernet connection, download the new firmware can not say, although the gap. I'm sorry that I did not technically, but this is my review of Blue Collar. N. ?????? s I will be better, I can not answer
Just finished watching Casino Royale - spectacular!
I have a PlayStation 3, whichimpressive picture quality for both Blu-Ray and upscaling of standard DVD as a software update. We use this to our main HD TV in the living room. I need another BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player for a second HD TV, we just hung in our bedroom.
I waited for the BD-P1400 will be available because I go to Blu-Ray already decided and wanted the latest technology. I can not say enough about the sound quality that offers the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray disc player, isincredible. The picture quality is excellent and on par with the Playstation 3 I'm seriously considering buying a second BD-P1400 for our main set for great sound. BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc is played mainly for money.
By far the best Blu-ray I've ever tested. Never watch cartoons, but now I'm spending a lot of time watching with my children.
This is a great Blue Ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player. DTS HD MA bitstream finally. I have this product for possession oftwo months and are thrilled with it, is really a good deal. I only use my Blu Ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player, Blu Ray, as the game's sound is directed into a receiver Samsung 5-disc. The picture quality is amazing. I own four Blu Ray (which I bought on Amazon for $ 14.99 per piece), and all good game without any problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible, and a crystal clear picture.
I bought them BD-P1400 Blu-ray Discin December. I connected with an HDMI cable to a Sony receiver. The cable box from Comcast is also connected to the receiver. The receiver is a 42-inch Panasonic Plasma 1080P online. Three HDMI cable, is this.
It was right from the start with all Blu-Ray we have tried worked. We get about a week from Netflix. Can I play the third Pirates of the Caribbean Not sure why other reviewers do not.
The picture quality is superb, with the planet Earth. I thinkPanasonic TV, most of the credit for this.
I have firmware version 1.2 in December. I only have version 1.5 firmware yesterday, February 5. I downloaded it and created the ISO CD.
For me, it works quickly. So you have a couple of seconds to wait until the boat, so what? Go get the DVD while waiting.
Most computers now take minutes to boot. I guess there will never be more, probably over time, probably even worse, because they were essentiallyComputers, technology advances and more, these machines are slower to activate and load.
After the firmware update, I checked my settings and noticed that he had reset. If you have a digital receiver, you must ensure that the audio is set to "bit rate" and not PCM if you want surround sound.
, I also had no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible is not regular in DVDs and CDs. So when is obsolete, it isDVD to replace my other DVD BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc and improve the quality of my other regular old set with Samsung 720P.
I do not think anyone buys, why delay the format war. When buying anything today, so it is obsolete and will eventually throw one. So at least you can enjoy while, life is too short. At today's prices, what the hell is cheap, buy now before the dollar is worth nothing! You can use a whole-1080P Home TheaterHDMI-based system with speakers for less than $[...] now. Thanks China! I have my HDMI cable from Planet Omni, $ 19.95 for 2 meters in length, image and sound excellent!
Before this I connected, I updated the firmware via the Ethernet port. Once that was done I had no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible, even with the Blu-Ray Disc Player BD-P1400. I wondered whether or not to buy this because of some negative reviews, but theDeal was too good to join Stand-Alone. Those of you who have had problems with this player BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc with every right to be here, complain about what these ratings.
However, people do not complain of 1.1 or 2.0 (BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player is not 2.0 or stop) it should not. Nowhere in the description because that's BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc to be 1.1. If you want to inform people there are, and get thisBD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player will not be granted, go ahead, but to say that is terrible and useless, because it is misleading as 1.0. I feel that most people just want to see the film and rarely use the features of 1.1 (like picture in picture commentary).
If this is perfect for you, this BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player. If you have a 1.1 BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player, get the Panasonic. To me, this will work for the next year, while End Blu-ray takesact together, and includes an emergent product. I hope those of you who have had problems that could come out of it and can now use the BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc player like me.
I had no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible, the Samsung BD-P1400-PBD. I put in, connected to the Internet and started the firmware upgrade utility. After about 20 minutes, the firmware update successfully and I played my first moviewithout problems. Every movie I've also played played flawlessly. You can also update the firmware by burning a CD or if you do not have Internet access, Samsung will send it to you.
This product works well on Blu-ray DVD format also further afield, music and CD-ROM. I found no problem and the multi-region version from Planet Omni will be even more incredible for him. It 'still offer a superior display plain DVDs on my 40 "TV, where my previous DVDBD-P1400 Blu-Ray disc player is only part of the screen.
A documented essay is that you try and touch the right TV input option, if a disk is inserted. May be appropriate for the TV is a Samsung.
I have this on Nov.30, 2007, and unlike other reviewers, what you said, the BD-P1400 does not start where you left off. Everything else looks and works great.
To change this review to March 13, 2008 to reflect my experiences with the machines. Seemstell if a DVD will begin again where it stopped depends on how the DVD was produced and not on Blu-Ray Disc Player BD-P1400. Some DVDs, like "Lost, Season 3", do not even have chapter / scene-makers themselves, the less the chance of starting after a stop.
Some DVDs like "3:10 to Yuma", actually have their own system for marking where to stop or where you want to return, but otherwise require starting from scratch. But do not start some DVDswhere he stopped.
My main complaint with Blu-Ray (not necessarily with the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player in particular) is that it is always necessary to start a DVD, if you have a DVD that does not start where you left off, you must go through the painfully long start.
I learned minutes, never break a DVD, what causes it to close some of the BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player. Instead, I think speed is about 8:01, then whenI'll be back, I can easily return to where I was - much faster than a reboot.
If there is a better BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc AB anywhere near this price, I have not heard of. Now that HD DVD is dead, I hope that the manufacturers of DVD DVD focus their attention on the work of AB to make it easier and faster.
This is a great player. The only problem is to update the firmware. I used to burn CD-R/RW method ... easier and faster. Burn *. ISO image with Nero Burning ROMSoftware. The instructions are in support [...]/. I have both HD-DVD and Blu-ray. regarding Blu-ray is better. HD DVD seems upconverted. Read the instructions carefully, that the new Blu-ray Live Free Die Hard, "contains a note that lets you know the software update may be required.
Finally, remember, this is HDMI 1.3 compatible ... so use of 1.3 features, you need a cable-TV and HDMI-compatible .... 1.3 the image is a great need. Buy this now BD-P1400 Blu-RayDisc and update the software immediately.
I have read and continue to play a lot of complaints about the different Blu-ray and HD-DVD BD-P1400 Blue-ray Disc's not working, people were hoping. Can I say that with this model that I had zero problems.
I'm sure some people write that does not load this or that does, but it struck me. I have a hard single that did not play perfectly found. What people have is to remember that on this dayAge and everything is like a computer, you may need to update, is now part of life, get over it.
The manufacturer's will finally come to an impeccable, probably yes, but in the meantime I will enjoy the film. If you're an early adopter, as I am on technology then no problem, you may not be a big problem. The BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player is easy to install, easy to play and loads fast enough. Glad I bought it and is already thinking about a second to severalRoom.
satisfaction for this product. Greatly increased my regular DVD 's. I was really surprised by this statement, but the Samsung is not as advertised. The Blu-ray Disc-Audio is very good. This coupling can be expected with my new surround system.
This product is money well spent for the viewing pleasure of giving. I recommend this product.
For the price this is a steal. The video and audio quality here is great, quality and choice of Blu-ray first class and you can be pretty sure you will always make Blu-ray for you for years to come. One of the best options for a dedicated player BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc if you're not interested in the PS3.
Before deciding to buy the Samsung BD-P1400 I have studied many of these reviews and were very helpful. I also read a special line AV Science Forum this model BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player. First, all the information and the customer> Reviews highlight the endemic problem that will support the implementation of the rules most recent Blu-Ray carried out gradually. Moreover, the functions are developed, which means that we all at times if you do not buy Blu-Ray BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player (this is not a PS3).
I personally have no interest in owning a game console. Secondly, these reviews describe in detail the kind of consciousness in many of the problems that people with, and whether and how the problemshave been overcome. This review adds data for this second category - practical problems.
When my BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player, the first thing I did was install the latest firmware was to be downloaded from Samsung. Propose the method to a CD, instead of using a direct network connection, in both cases, manuals and websites offer complete instructions. * Make sure you confirm that the update was successful * restart the BD-P1400 Blu-ray Discreloading the firmware CD, and compares the disk version, the version installed.
What are the problems I had? In a month to see Netflix discs I am not a single hiccup, not a single blue screen, had no cancellations on either BD or SD-DVD playback, other problems have been with - I had * nothing * to provide perfect! While some of the other criticisms, such as slower controls relating to technology. But my BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc is correct and myThe expectations were exceeded. Without hesitation, I give my BD-P1400 Blu-Ray Disc Player with five stars.
Pros: My favorite feature by far is the 24 frames per second output mode. Films display exactly as intended - whether good or bad - and "rub" lens swung into scenes is significantly improved compared to 30 FPS. This alone, in my opinion, justify the relatively low price. [In a direct comparison with my 50 "plasma TV, the video quality of the filmsBD-P1400 is clearly superior to 24 frames per second, when the discs with the same advanced computer graphics, who won the same cost!] I also like the features and layout of the remote control that doubles up to control my Samsung TV . Yes, these basic features of the Blu-ray, but were implemented very competent.
Cons: My only quibble is that I have a function set-ups, audio and video outputs can be moved relative to one another as a selectableTZ. This would make perfect lip synchronization in the use of older (ie slower) audio decoder / receiver, not HDMI 1.3 compatible. However, I know, this feature is not available on * all * new Blu-ray BD-P1400 Blu-ray Disc, as the HDMI 1.3 standard includes an automatic synchronization if all components are HDMI 1.3 compatible.
Maybe I was lucky, but I have not a single "playability issue with the latest build of the latest firmware.Based on this - 5 stars.
We hope this model Samsung is also need assistance in the future to further optimize the operation of the firmware, for example.
In short, exceptional image quality --- my wife and I say, even for stills, "Polaroid Picture It!" Breathtaking.
The unit has all the necessary connections. I play with a Yamaha V-Tuner channels via HDMI 7.1, but other connections are available.
There is a simple blue rings on / off button and a tray opening-closingButton, who is on board controls. The remote has several levels of complexity is easy to find and exploit the power control pause-play-rewind-fast/slow, which is 99% of the time you used. The remote also offers video menu controls (eg, language), menus and buttons and player options for controlling other devices --- to learn to use them only if and when you need it. There was absolutely no institution --- plug and play to do! Great neuro-ergonomics, ie, intuitive user experience.
Inabout three weeks of regular use, we found some problems, but it is unclear whether the same player or the new technology. Several times the device has been in "sleep, as if the button was pressed, I suggest to" play "to get the movie started again. Slightly disturbing.
What I'd like too? Perhaps the controls for the AV amplifier and, even if the device has all the buttons for TV, player and amp. Perhaps better backlighting on all keys. This is a severea business, recommended that all who come into Blu-ray.
Good easy to use DVD BluRay definition DVDs look great .. high, but regular DVDs look better.
No problem yet.
Samsung 1400 is much better than the Toshiba HD-A3. The BD-P1400 supports not only TrueHD, DTS-HD MA, but bitstream over HDMI. The A3 can only extract the DTS core and can not send bitstream DTS-HD MA out. Making only HD-A35 and the XA2 is possible, but both areconsiderably more expensive players. The BD-P1400 can also full 1080p/24 video output, while the A3 can only send and 1080i 24fps does not support output.
Both are slow to load, but the A3 is much slower, taking almost full two minutes to heat the players and display video on your monitor / screen. The PS3 has less than 30 seconds btw. The A3 is also very strong, so distractingly mainly because it is a high operating noise that is difficult to ignore.
Overall,BD-P1400 player is a high-functioning stand-alone Blu-ray, the output lossless audio (PCM, TrueHD and DTS-HD MA support), and 1080p/24. I would still recommend a four hundred U.S. dollars on the PS3 BD-P1400, but if you really want a standalone player, you can not go wrong with the BD-P1400.
Players do not really, but I have a friend who bought one and loves it.
This is a great Blu Ray and I am very happy with my purchase, I recommend this player for allThe price is great.
It has not disappointed at all. I have no problem playing a DVD or Blu-ray is not. I did not study all-ware, download to resolve any problems. The BD-P1400 is currently out of the box. The only thing that comes close to a scam is that is slow to start up and load.
I am very happy with this player and I'm happy. I get my report is that it works so much, and I have recommended to many of my friends when a questionConclusions.
great with my new Samsung plasma Works ... Have not had any problems other auditors expression. Coupled with an HDMI cable to your TV and home theater optical audio ... Stunning PQ and sound.
This Blu-Ray is first class. Easy installation. This is my first reader Hi-Def, and I am very happy with my purchase. I worked the last firmware update according to the instructions in the manual, and it was good. The player has a modern, sleek, shiny appearance. TheThe sounds are incredible, and the images are too beautiful to be described. Very easy to install and use. I never knew the difference that a Blu-ray can be seen in the movie making experience. I'm no expert, just a normal mother that the Blu-ray player for the family just bought.
I had this player for about a month ... After updating the firmware, it was perfect. Amazing picture, great rack in the entertainment industry sees peace with my HD DVDPlayers.
The upconversion wonderful! Best of all, I use optical and advantages of the new audio codecs.
I give this player 5 stars!
It is not a unique problem. I even have the caliper with 2 "clearance on back up and open, without overheating problems. It is one of my films have been blocked or not to play in this situation. I tried Live Free or Die Hard, all the Harry Potter, Planet Earth and others. firmware 1.5 came January 24 and it seemed to solve allOthers had problems with. I would definitely recommend this player to others.
I have a PS3 and Sony S 300 Blu-ray, and both are good players Blu-ray. But I like my new Samsung 1400 can decode DTS HD BD, and makes the experience a wonderful film now. The first thing you should do a new owner, is to samusung.com and download the latest firmware update (it's a simple rapid procedure). There are also references to the manual which explains howTo upgrade to the player. I have the latest Blu-ray Disc releases from Fox, Disney, Sony, etc. and the quality of picture and sound is guaranteed. Very satisfied with the product.
